On Wednesday, May 7, 50a50 held a new training session at the Lidera space. The session, focused on the prevention and management of sexual and gender-based harassment in the workplace, was led by Mar Gaya, psychologist, consultant, and member of 50a50, with over 19 years of experience in the field of gender equality.

Throughout the two-hour session, key concepts were addressed in a rigorous and detailed manner to understand what constitutes sexual and gender-based harassment, how it manifests, and its consequences for both victims and organizations. The session also delved into the identification of risk situations, companies’ legal obligations, the current regulatory framework, and the responsibilities of workers.

A central focus of the session was the protocol for dealing with harassment cases, along with best practices that can help foster a culture of prevention and respect in the workplace. The training provided practical tools and expert knowledge for effectively managing such situations, reinforcing 50a50’s commitment to promoting safe, equitable, and violence-free work environments.

Through initiatives like this, 50a50 continues to promote female leadership, equal opportunities, and well-being within organizations.
