On October 9, the 9th training session of the Transparency Agency of the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bBarcelona (AMB) will be held under the title “Gender equity, the axis of good metropolitan governance<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n The conference, which will take place in the Espai Francesca Bonnemaison (Sant Pere M\u00e9s Baix, 7 08003 Barcelona), is organized by the Transparency Agency of the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bBarcelona with the collaboration of the Observatori Dona, Empresa i Economia from the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona; the Commission of Women Lawyers of the ICAB; the Association 50a50, and the Institut Catal\u00e0 de les Dones.<\/p>\n Gender equality<\/strong> and the goal of achieving a 50% balance between men and women in business, public administrations and civil society is one of the objectives of global governance<\/strong>, as reflected in the UN Agenda 2030, with special emphasis on access to managing positions. In this sense, it is key that all public policies at all levels of government transversally incorporate the gender perspective, taking advantage of the vision of transparency and good governance, and that of equality, both designed and prescriptive at the normative level.<\/p>\n The conference counts as speakers with several founding partners of 50a50, and places gender policies on the agenda of the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bBarcelona.<\/p>\n
