{"id":10652,"date":"2025-06-20T09:20:16","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T09:20:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.50a50.org\/?p=10652"},"modified":"2025-06-23T08:22:30","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T08:22:30","slug":"50a50s-annual-assembly-reaffirms-collective-commitment-and-welcomes-new-leadership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.50a50.org\/en\/50a50s-annual-assembly-reaffirms-collective-commitment-and-welcomes-new-leadership\/","title":{"rendered":"50a50\u2019s Annual Assembly Reaffirms Collective Commitment and Welcomes New Leadership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"427\">Yesterday, the <strong data-start=\"167\" data-end=\"210\">eighth Annual Assembly of 50a50 members<\/strong> was held at the <strong data-start=\"227\" data-end=\"275\">School of Public Administration of Catalonia<\/strong>, with the participation of <strong data-start=\"303\" data-end=\"317\">35 members<\/strong> who supported the association in an event filled with commitment, emotion, and a clear vision for the future.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"680\">During the assembly, members <strong data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"482\">unanimously approved<\/strong> both the <strong data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"538\">2024 board report and financial statements<\/strong>, as well as the <strong data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"570\">2025 budget<\/strong>\u2014a vote of confidence that reaffirms the members\u2019 support for the board&#8217;s leadership and the ongoing projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"948\">One of the most notable moments of the session was the <strong data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"798\">very positive assessment of this year\u2019s lobbying activity<\/strong>, with numerous meetings and advocacy actions that have been a <strong data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"947\">success in boosting the visibility and presence of women in decision-making spaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"950\" data-end=\"1356\">The assembly also marked a <strong data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1041\">very special transition in the presidency of the association<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1063\">Ms. Anna Mercad\u00e9<\/strong>, founder and tireless driving force behind 50a50, <strong data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1169\">stepped aside to pass the baton to Ms. Marta Macias<\/strong>. It was an emotional moment and an opportunity to <strong data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1274\">deeply thank Ms. Mercad\u00e9 for her career and legacy<\/strong>, as an undisputed reference in the fight for equity and the empowerment of women.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1700\"><strong data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1378\">Ms. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marta-macias-quesada-850b5b2b\/\">Marta Macias<\/a><\/strong> shared with all attendees <strong data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1439\">a heartfelt presentation video<\/strong>, in which she outlined <strong data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1517\">the association&#8217;s future work lines and her vision<\/strong>.
