{"id":10546,"date":"2025-05-23T09:29:11","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T09:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.50a50.org\/?p=10546"},"modified":"2025-05-23T09:29:11","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T09:29:11","slug":"equality-a-success-story-still-in-progress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.50a50.org\/en\/equality-a-success-story-still-in-progress\/","title":{"rendered":"Equality: A Success Story (Still in Progress)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"55\" data-end=\"262\">Yesterday, at the College, the first workshop organized by the <strong data-start=\"118\" data-end=\"156\">Commission for Equality and Equity<\/strong> took place \u2014 a firm step towards building a more just, inclusive, and equitable professional environment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"612\">Under the title <strong data-start=\"280\" data-end=\"317\">\u201cEquality: A Brief Success Story\u201d<\/strong>, the workshop featured a keynote by <strong data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"374\">Esther Nin Camps<\/strong>, a partner and board member of <strong data-start=\"406\" data-end=\"433\">50a50 Shared Leadership<\/strong>, lawyer, senior executive at a company listed on the IBEX 35, and board member of the <strong data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"574\">ODEE (Observatory for Women, Business and Economy)<\/strong> of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"1033\">With a clear and committed perspective, Nin offered a compelling overview of the progress made in terms of equality over the past decades, while emphasizing that <strong data-start=\"776\" data-end=\"829\">despite advances, there is still a long way to go<\/strong>. Drawing from her dual experience as a high-level executive and equality advocate, she illustrated how power structures and unconscious biases continue to shape and limit many women&#8217;s professional paths.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1301\">The event became a true space for <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1094\">collective reflection<\/strong>. Personal experiences were shared, uncomfortable questions were raised, and a rich and constructive debate emerged around the role each of us can \u2014 and must \u2014 play in advancing towards a more equal society.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1303\" data-end=\"1549\">For <strong data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1316\">50a50<\/strong>, this event is yet another example that <strong data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1418\">shared leadership is not only necessary but also possible<\/strong>.
