With an enthusiastic turnout, the session began with a synopsis of the book, setting us in a harsh and hostile environment where hope seeps through small cracks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"783\">Feixas\u2019 narrative introduced us to the story of <strong data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"496\">Majdi<\/strong>, a Palestinian facade painter who, faced with the grim future awaiting many girls in the camp, decided to form a women\u2019s basketball team. More than just a sports project, this team became an escape route from a fate marked by forced marriages, gender-based violence, and honor crimes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1157\">The club\u2019s participants highlighted the <strong data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"849\">powerful testimonies<\/strong> of the players and how the network of solidarity among women has been key to their survival. The discussion revolved around the importance of education, sports, and sisterhood as tools for social transformation. There was also reflection on Feixas\u2019 role in shedding light on these often-invisible stories.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1382\">The exchange of ideas was intense and thought-provoking. The book left us with a lingering question: how many <em data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1277\">allies<\/em>does it take to change the world?
